The Multi-touch LCD (MTL) module for the DE3 / DE4 has been verified to work with the DE3 and DE4 FPGA Development Kit. For users planning on using the MTL module with these kits, please ensure that you are purchasing a verified MTL module. The MTL for the DE3 / DE4 features a reference design for image processing and gesture recognition.
The grayscale gradient reference design is a simple application enabling the use of gestures and multi-touch gestures. Below is a figure of the reference design, which defaults to a grayscale gradient. Single-touch and multi-touch gestures can be utilized to manipulate the image, such as changing the Cb, Cr, and gradient values.

The reference design is provided as an open source demo code. For users that wish to change the code, please understand that additional effort in modifying timing and function parameters may be required to achieve the desired result.
