Here is the procedure for using XFCE via VNC with the Atum A5 Linux Image, which comes preinstalled with VNC and XFCE: ==UART Terminal:== #Launch a UART terminal, such as '''PuTTY'''. #Boot the FPGA board #Log in to the system. #Type 'ifconfig' to find the assigned IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.131). #Type 'vncserver' and set a password (e.g., terasic1). When prompted, input 'n' to disable view-only mode. ==Windows Desktop:== #Launch a VNC viewer, such as '''TightVNC'''. #In the connection dialog, input the remote host IP '192.168.1.131::5901'. #Enter the VNC password (e.g., 'terasic1'). #The XFCE desktop should now appear on your screen.
