Q:The DE0-NANO-SoC board can run normally, but the board is very hot

A:

1. As you know the PCB circuit will release heat when it is working. And the DE0-Nano-SOC board PCB size is small( cooling down slowly), then the heat will be more obvious.

2. Do you also run ARM on the board? If yes, the temperature should be higher than only running FPGA.

3. If customers think the hot temperature is unacceptable, we do suggest the user to assemble heat sinks or similar on top of FPGA to lower the temperature. And customers can also remove the acrylic plastic plate on the board to dissipate heat.
