On 28th September, Industrial Development Bureau visits Terasic Technologies in order to make an inspection of the opening of the courses and of the responses from the enrollees. According to Industrial Development Bureau, they are very impressed by the situation that most of the courses held by Terasic Technologies are bumped and more rounds are requested. In addition, comparing to other courses, it is very extraordinary that most of the enrollees are senior experienced RD from many notable companies in Taiwan. Thirdly, the enrollees' estimation and approval of the courses held by Terasic Technologies exceed to the extent of “extremely good”. Moreover, many senior RD indicate that Terasic Technologies releases and explains the source code to the public greatly shortens the time of developing their products.
Judges pay a great compliment on Terasic Technologies' contribution to the field of IC design education. Famous universities adopting products of Terasic Technologies are all over the world such as those from western, Cambridge, Cornell, Georgia Institute of Technology , University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, UMASS, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, even American Airforce Base, and these from Asia, National Taiwan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Xian Jiao Tong University, etc. They adopt our products in order to take advantage of the hardware design, the software, and the IP tutorials to guide their most outstanding students from Department of Electrical Engineering and that of Computer Science and Information Engineering.
Terasic Technologies provides a course of DTV ASIC using FPGAs at Yen Tjing Ling Industrial Research Institute of National Taiwan University in addition to the other three courses in the headquarter at Jhubei. Most of the enrollee are senior experienced RD from notable companies in Taiwan. There are too many people signing up for the courses so two more rounds of courses are provided in order to match the strong needs of this field.
