Terasic Technologies Inc. is a company with strong commitment to uphold social responsibility. To stay as a sustainable company, we urgently need our suppliers to commit to certain shared values and principles.

There has been increased awareness of violence and human right violation in the mining of certain minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries. Terasic is deeply concerned about the sources of minerals from these conflict zones and is therefore deeply committed to obtain full transparency from all of our suppliers.

We will conduct due diligence with our suppliers with regard to the origin of the metals that are used in Terasic products consistent with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chain of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. We request our suppliers provide evidence of their due diligence activities, and completion of the EICC-GeSI Conflict Minerals reporting template. We also make sure each supplier of own understand and support EICC-GeSI actions and will not knowingly procure metals that are in the DRC area.

If we are aware of a supplier whose supply chain includes metals from the DRC area, or from a conflict source, Terasic will reevaluate the supplier relationship. Terasic expects our suppliers to align with our goal to establish a conflict-free mineral supply chain.
