We are pleased to announce the 2nd generation of Nios II Embedded Evaluation Kit (NEEK), a.k.a MAX 10 NEEK, the latest product developed by Terasic and Altera altogether which features a non-volatile MAX10 FPGA and an embedded processor based on Nios II software core. MAX 10 NEEK is the fully integrated kit allows developers to rapidly customize their processor and IP to suit their specific needs, rather than constraining their software around the fixed feature set of the processor.
The all-in-one embedded solution, the MAX 10 NEEK, combines a 5-point LCD touch panel and digital image module that provides developers an ideal platform for multimedia applications, making the best use of the parallel nature of FPGAs. Embedded system developers can easily use the reference designs we provided which includes networking, audio, video, and graphics processing as base examples to build more exciting designs together with the touch functions. A 800MP MIPI CSI-2 camera is provided on MAX 10 NEEK, together with the HDMI RX for users to develop video applications. Also the humidity/temperature sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, and a built-in Mic are available to enhance the human-machine interface experience, machine vision, and much more.
We have also developed a Bluetooth module BTS-TMD which can go seamlessly with MAX 10 NEEK for remote control applications and can be purchased as an accessory under the MAX 10 NEEK order page.
